Topeinu Tots

Topeinu Tots is an abridged program of Camp Topeinu for boys and girls turning 2 and joining a toddler program in the Fall. The hours are 9AM until 12:30PM Monday through Friday. The program is designed to help our youngest campers separate from their parents in a safe and nurturing environment and to foster independence and social skills. All of the activities are designed to meet the developmental skills of two year olds including Super Soccer Stars, music, art, yoga, puppet storytelling, swimming and baking. Because of the nature of the program there are a limited number of campers accepted to this group.

Camp Topeinu

Our main division of Camp Topeinu is for boys and girls entering Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten and Pre-1A. The hours are 9AM until 3:30PM Monday through Thursday and on Fridays until 2PM. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that is large enough to offer a variety of activities to delight every child, yet small enough to provide a warm, loving program in which each and every child is respected, applauded and honored. Our counselors are all teachers who bring their expertise in early childhood and elementary education to camp each day. The daily schedule consists of a variety of camp activities including arts and crafts, baking, music, and outdoor play along with many of our signature activities including Super Soccer Stars, Yoga, Sport Zone, Puppet Mania, The Nature Company, Tennis and Explore! Check out the “activity” tool bar for more details on our weekly activities. We offer an optional 2pm dismissal for children in our 3’s group (entering Nursery).

Topeinu Troop

Mon-Thurs 9-3:30PM

Friday 2PM dismissal

For children entering 1st grade
 

$3550- full summer/$2100 per session

$3250- full summer- early-bird rate (valid only until 3/31/25)
 

Topeinu Troop is a separate division for boys and girls entering 1st grade. It follows the model of our main division of the camp; however, in addition to our many exciting activities currently offered, we offer the following activities exclusively for our Troop division:

  

1) “NYC Chess Kids” whose goal is to foster an environment of learning and fun. A typical activity consists of puzzle-solving (various forms of tactics, endgames, studies, etc.), lessons with multimedia projector and lessons with demonstration boards. After a full day of outdoor activities we’re sure your camper will love the air conditioned, quiet environment while learning a new skill.

 

2) Instructional Swim Program. We are pleased to share that our Troop division will have the opportunity to learn and practice their swimming skills THREE days a week at SwimJim. This will leave two days for our campers to enjoy sprinkler fun on our front lawn or at a nearby park.
